Once everyone was refreshed and relieved we were all given a bottle of icy cold water and then followed our guide for the 10 minute walk to the Tulum. Roberto mentioned it's low season now (September and October are the quietest months in Cancun) which although not so good for the local economy was good fore us as we would get to see the site when it wasn’t overrun by tourists.
