        ... the stretch of white sand. But never have I seen anything like this beach. This may be because I grew up in Massachusetts. We have rocky sand, or grainy yellow stuff with strong exfoliation properties! Occasional white sand beaches ring Cape Cod. There's an abundance of stringy beach grass, along with insect and marine life both good and bad. (Dragonflies, horseshoe crabs, fish, seahorses? Yes! Jellyfish, hermit crabs, and horseflies? NO.) ...

        ... was a sign with Matzanas and Varadero… so I think it is possible to assume that when we are finally in the Matzanas province that there would be a turn-off sign coming for those 2 important cities???? But the last time we saw anything besides Havana was around Sancta Clara… every little far away little town had a turn off but not Matzanas or Varadero. So maybe we should have gone ...
