Wow Mallorca, what an awesome place!!

Its difficult to think of what it didn't have to offer. What did it have to offer? Beautiful mountain and coastal scenery, fabulous food, great beaches, historical market squares and ancient architecture, quaint and quiet villages and farms, friendly people. Sure there were alot of tourists in some parts and some of the most picturesque bays were crowded beyond belief with English holidaymakers. So its not perfect by ...

... water. We only made it to the top of our legs before we called it quits, but some people were brave enough to swim. We tanned some more before heading to some souvenir shops.

When we got back from the beach, we went to the spa for a few hours and had the chance to relax one last time on the cruise ship. We watched the boat depart from the port from the outdoor spa on the back of the cruise. It was a neat experience!

Stephen is my Dad's cousin and we don't see him that often, almost never ever. We then got to the beach and then I again swam the entire day...at least as much as they would let me. I would have swam more but whatever. We went to a yummy lunch that was huge! We decided not to ...

... some art from a Russian artist (no majorcan artists around, apparently) we headed to the beach and Ben immediately began to swim. After much whining via Ben and rolling of the eyes via Mom, I got in the water and Ben grappled with me for twenty minutes. After getting out, we got some delicious ice cream and left the beach area. We went on a loooooong car ride up the twisting road on the mountains that make up much of the island. We arrived at ...

... we appeared from the gate. What a great hello!
The hour-or-so car trip from the airport was also trouble-free and it was great to see the Mallorcan countryside... leading us to collapse on Aunt Susan's couch and relax for the evening with our first home-cooked meal in 10+ days - a delicious lasagna, salad, garlic bread and lemon meringue pie. (Yum!) Lucky us to have such a caring Auntie! Looking forward to spending more time with the family and visiting the ...
