The significance of the windows was lost until a few years ago a person who shared an interest in Mayan Culture and sailing determined that a sailing vessel sailing past the site could turn toward the city when a light ( that was set up behind the two windows) was visibly equally from both windows. The reefs of Cozumel are some of the best in the world to explore, you can read about them in any dive book. So right now the plan is to dive, and if I have to leave Cozumel early, oh well. But I would like to do some couchsurfing now, as I'm tired of paying for hostels. RYAN UPDATE: ...
