I woke up on the early side this morning, to blissful quiet. Playa del Carmen is so far east in this time zone that the sun rises and sets much earlier than elsewhere in Mexico. ... the guide gave us locker keys to lock up our stuff. He said we would need our towels, camera, flip flops and bathing suits. Bryce locked our stuff up and we walked about 3 minutes to some stairs leading down. We got to the bottom and saw the cavern we would be swimming in. it was very neat. ... me towards them, and says again "See, he is my boyfriend", then repeats it in Spanish ("El es mi novio"). So he went from being a possible murderer, to being a gentleman to Sabrina, to... is he hitting on me??? LOL.
We come back to the resort at 2am, alive and well, with aching feet but a grin on our faces :) We were in good hands with Jesus.
PS. We did not realize time went forward on Saturday night in Mexico, so we only have one hour difference with Toronto ...
