... going out. I have been steadily drinking cervezas and mojitos all day but it's not really the same when you're on your own! Megan's been struggling with what we thought was a cold since before we left and last night got hit by a bout of travellers' tummy, which hit her for six, so she went to the doctor to see what was up and has a throat infection. She got some antibiotics and feels better already, so hopefully she's all set ...

Off to Peru tomorrow ...

As far as the food goes it is wonderful, an array of fresh fruits, salads, vegetables (including cactus!) a variety of meats, breads, deserts seriously you name it we have the option to eat it! We have been to the fancy Italian restaurant, this you book in advance the rest of the main restaurant is a buffet, trust me you never go hungry! Having said that I have not taken full advantage of the food or booze here. We are all inclusive and I think some people literally ...

We had planned to explore Xcaret today however Belen was not feeling well therefore we plan on hanging around the hotel today. Tomorrow I will be going Spearfishing. Really looking forward to this. Should be the highlight of the trip. We spent most of the day at the pool and at the beach at RIU Playacar. Got a little sunburned. I should be ok. ...
