      Entertainment staff were great but hotel staff seemed disinterested. Room was good and view was nice. Food selection was very good although the best meal is on the beach at lunch with the jerk chicken.

      Falmouth and Dunn's River Falls

      Today's port of call in Jamaica is Falmouth, a quaint port town located on the north shore of the island. After breakfast we loaded up lightly for perhaps our more adventurous excursion: a tour of the island coast and hike up famous Dunn's River Falls. It's over 900 feet from the base of the falls at sea level to the top. You walk all the way down on ...

      ... 8211; only 14 people and 150 chickens in a 12 seater. Belly had an entertaining time chatting to her seat mate. Born in this area he works on cruise ships all over the world. Wendy’s neighbour had a box of 100 day old chicks on her knee! We climbed steadily on a narrow windy and mostly sealed road through beautiful rainforest and past small farms and villages until we arrived at the end of the bus route, Maroon Town. It ...

      ... that the information was
      almost all incorrect! We did check out
      the beach where there is a reef off shore, but it was too rough to snorkel
      today. Wendy and Rick gave Belly a tour
      through the CBD, picked up a few things and went to a locals type restaurant
      for lunch. Belly and Wendy had the local
      specialty, goat curry, which was really delicious. Rick unfortunately had to wait ages ...

      Amateurs. Second time backpacking & Yours Truly planned this trip. I also paid for half of my sister's flight plus all of my own so I opted for the cheapest flights. Our flight itinerary from Philadelphia, USA to Buenos Aires, Argentina looks like this:

      PHL --> Montego Bay, Jamaica
      MB --> Panama City, Panama
      PC --> Buenos Aires

      Sure. Why not.

      We're told upon checking our bags in PHL that our luggage will meet ...

      ... families. Gonna keep it simple and just stick to family this time around. Found a local convenience store en-route to/from our hotel to the main road and utilize that a lot. Red Stripe is pretty cheap and nummy! Good beer and she'll be chilling in our fridge.

      My goodness it's obvious we've traveled before - had all of our supplies and gifts all within two hours of arriving! Good to go and ready for the night to unfold (and what a night!!).

      Decided to walk for a bit ...
