... ruins, beach, plants and wildlife of our day. Un-like the “National Geographic” I could not get them to close the park for the day in order not to have other people blocking the photographs!
Today we hit the beach for another day of reading, sun and swimming.

... also shopping early that morning and we saw them here! We then stopped at the bamboo place on 307 to pick up some bamboo curtain rods. They had to 'make' the size and color of what we wanted so we were to return manana. To get the bamboo to be dark, they torch it. Very cool process that we were able to witness. We also picked up several items at the talavera place right next door - 2 large flower pots for the back patio along with a ceramic lantern for the ...

They have 13 there currently and the names I can remember are Luna, Maya, Michelle, Lady, Rebecca, Bojangles and Chuck. It costs $2500 a month in fruit to feed these little guys and the government of Mexico isn't doing a whole lot to support them at this point. The price is now $30 per person but it is money well spent for such ...
Chemuyil, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico chanchemuyil... was satisfactory. She is so friendly and helpful to work with, which only adds to the phenomenal quality and workmanship of her products. Every item was beautiful, both individually and as part of the package. We outfitted our entire house using the Chemuyil package designed specifically for Chan Chemuyil homeowners. Each item will fit in the spaces where I planned with ample room. We had done a scaled down coffee table and a 42 inch dining table, so it all worked out very ...
Chemuyil, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico chanchemuyil... metropolis of 30 something million souls. Heading out of it's valley and into the surrounding mountains, we passed alongside the national park Desierto de los Leones with it's towering pine trees, and into the lovely state of Puebla... Winding through it's majestic mountains and valleys, passing an occasional pueblo below. The scene changed dramatically as we entered the next state, Veracruz - land of history and mystery. Incredibly green with ...
Zihuatanejo to Playa del Carmen, Mexico tacoinusa... mennään huomenna uudestaan; hän tietenkin ajatteli että Mexicossa on aina yhtä juhlaa! Varsinaista kuolleden juhlaa matkasimme ihastelemaan Zitacuaroon. Siellä juhla kestää kolme päivää, jonka aikana hautausmaat koristetaan upein kukkaseppelein ja perheet kokoontuvat kotialttareidensä ympärille uhraamaan herkkuja kuolleille sukulaisille ja lähiomaisilleen. Juhla on erityisen suuri, mikäli kuolema on kohdannut juuri kuolleoiden juhlan aikana. Tätä juhlaa emme ...
Tulum, Mexico pentti_kotiaho... we depart. Perhaps they are heading up to Playa. As we walk the sidewalk to the arch my phone rings. Keith is in the Cyber Café, and we are twenty feet outside. I hang up as we enter and am reunited with my pocket camera. Thanks completely to this nifty Loco Gringo site. We chat briefly with Keith and his wife and then head over to get some breakfast. I have read great things about the Turtle Bay bakery, so we grab a seat and get ...
Akumal/Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico austxdan... Quiz Time: What is the Mayan phrase for this book title? Please post your reply (aj, and Kai need not reply ;-) Our spa treatments are at 3:00 PM. We didn't realize that they were down at Zahra and not right on Copal's beach. Luckily, 'Christian' (Chris' hot young stud masseuse) was there to give us a ride down to our appt. I opted for a female masseuse. Her name was Maria (you could have guessed that, right). She was very nice ...

Based on this expert translation, we were taken to Puerto Aventuras poste haste. We have an epic video of the two of performing tricks with the Delfines and a photo, which I greatly cherish, of a dolphin with his beak pressed against my cheek, smiling happily as he gives me a kiss. "Thanks for coming", he said. "It was no trouble", I replied.
