We're not usually all-inclusive resort people but it was our honeymoon so we wanted to stay somewhere nice and it seems all-inclusive is actually cheaper than not in many cases. We chose the Gran Porto Real because it was the right price and in a great location for our future travels to Cuba and the rest of Central America and South America. All in all, the resort was what we wanted. We could have easily drank ourselves into total renal failure if we wanted and the food was abundant and of a decent standard. There's so many staff and they are all really helpful, the room was really good, the pools are the perfect places to while away a honeymoon and overall we had no complaints. We paid an extra $100 or so to upgrade our 'ocean view' room to a room that actually had a proper ocean view, rather than a view of the road and a bit of ocean out of the corner of your eye - it as well worth it, as the view of the pool and the Caribbean made our stay there that much better.

Anyway, in the bar Paz y Vela we chilled out and had some cervezas, margharitas and some nachos with frijoles. Later before we went back to the hotel we stopped at another bar for a Tequila 1800 anejo.
The night was sleepless, or almost. we woke up several times even with earplugs due to the drumming basses from the night club just next to our hotel.
... the same time. I had planned to visit them both in Guadalajara, but Ailed had moved to Cancun a while ago for work. A few days before I arrived she notified me that she had moved again, and at first I was a bit afraid that I could not stay with her like planned, but she told me that she now lives in a house even bigger than the one before and in Playa del Carmen, which is by many considered better than Cancun. But in the car when we returned from ...

We walked back to Calle 12th and had drinks at El Diablito Cha Cha Cha, a friend recommended me to have a Vodka Pepino and they were good but I liked the ones at Sushiclub better.
