until you visited the real cities of Cuba you will not truly understand this
saying. Casa Particulars (Hostels) are a
relatively new addition to the Island. Similar to the Canadian bed and breakfasts, casa particulars were created in 1997 when the
government changed the law to allow Cuban Families to rent out rooms in their
homes to tourists as an additional source of income. All other forms ...

We made it! The kids were great on the flights. Even with Guillaume sick with a fever and nausea, flying with both babies for the first time went well. Then through a fancy hotel to the beach… only difference: there are lots more people, the sand is the same white powder and the water the same inviting blue

... off-$25!! Eventually we got sorted and headed to Memories Resort and put all the hassle behind us! The resort was interesting to say the least! It was huge, in a beautiful setting on the Varadero peninsula and the main area was a large open colonial style building. The vibe was a bit like Santa Ponsa if all that booze was free and perhaps where the chavs of south America come on their holiers! Lots of big fat qypsy wedding types! It had 2 nice pools and a ...
