As well as the stand alone restaurants we certainly still have the open windows selling everything from pizza shells, bread, pork and my favorite baking.     We arrived back at our apartment in Habana in the middle of a lightening / thunder storm and could not see the road for the last 30 minutes. We arrived at our place but left the luggage in the trunk of the car as the rain was so heavy.     ... with the emotions of the parents. I've still got plenty of non fiction I'm devouring though.

    In the evening, after a sweaty interval run I grabbed some more chicken and bumped into the Irish girl from Baracoa on the street. She broke up the journey here with a day in Santa Clara. It only seems worth it as part of a Che Guevera pilgrimage. It's probably come across but I am not such a fan. His Cuban diaries is some of the non fiction I am not devouring. ...

    ... home for the next 7 days. Our Adults only, all inclusive 5 star touch of luxury, so that we can chill, relax and revive ourselves after a hectic week of the real Cuba. Now we need to recharge the batteries, eat, drink, enjoy the pools and swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Its a beautiful resort with 5 different restaurants as well as various snack bars. This will be fun.

    ... dog would need a vet check, a rabies vaccine and then a quarantine for 40 days. Emma who wanted to adopt Angel was going home and her friend would be coming a week after I left to make the arrangements for Angel. I gladly offered to watch over her for the week and would then find someone else to for the week that I was gone.
