      We made it! The kids were great on the flights. Even with Guillaume sick with a fever and nausea, flying with both babies for the first time went well. Cuba was even more different than I was expecting, and I was a bit anxious at first, wondering if we had chosen well for our first trip as a family of four.       ... we already know where the cheap coffee is and the parking we went there but we are SOL, because the coffee machine is broken… that means a little bit more money in the coffee shop.
      At least here in Varadero it’s easy to find coffee with milk, not like in other towns, where the cafeteria actually doesn’t sell coffee or don’t have milk.

      Before I get to Havana, I want to show you how different publicity is in Cuba. There are no outdoor billboards advertising Coca Cola or Havana Club rum along the highways. In their place are signs advertising the glories of the revolution. It is as if the only signs you see on U.S. highways are praise for Barack Obama.
