... morning after a full day and sumptuous French dinner last night. After breakfast, we headed off the ship to join out Best of Antigua Tour which departed at 1300. Our tour have 22 persons in a comfortable new air-conditioned bus. There are rain clouds lurking again today, but the sun was shining hot and bright with almost 100% humidity. ... to sailors and soldiers. Ships came into the dockyard for repairs and were careened (laid over on their sides, not hauled out of the water) to fix anything below the waterline. I wondered as I walked through the area what the sailors thought of the location. After all those months at sea getting across the Atlantic, it must have seemed pretty nice at first. Then came the mosquitos at night. Man do they have the mosquitos here!

TUESDAY: Christine let us know that we could move Wednesday afternoon with a $100 charge per night. Again we enjoyed the beach, pools, bars, and nice couples we met throughout the day, had a fabulous dinner at Mario’s that night, enjoyed the resort games and chocolate buffet, and finished off our night with playing pool at Cricketers.
