This will be an occasional blog listing the ups downs of two weeks in Antigua.

There are four of us. Me, my Min, my sister Elaine and her husband David.

Before Min and I left home to go to Gatport Airwick, Dave phoned to say he was almost there. Now, he's got well over 100 miles to travel and had to cross London and use the …

A drive across the island with commentary from our driver, Romeo. Not a lot to see, no agriculture, no scenery, just a few very worn cricket pitches and some goats. The trip was well organised with good snorkel equipment supplied. A short but very bumpy boat ride out to a a shallow bank. A pier anchored with steps down into ...

... the poor guy was hounded by an intense interrogation on the island and its surroundings and inhabitants. Iain and the girls had a very different story, windows open and stops for carsick girls!
We arrive, seconds later rum punch in hand, it's very hot, humid hot, to our rooms with balconies overlooking the beach and sea - I think I can do this for a week - ...
