... cool. See photos. After we checked everything out we caught the bus to the next little town along the trail, vallalodid. A super cute town, very quiet but nice. We visited my first cenote which was cool. Cenotes are swimming holes, caves with water pretty much that go super deep. Apparently you can scuba dive down them but that seems little scary for this kid. The water was cold though which was very refreshing. It's so damn hot here, ...
... dont even budge. The american shakes his leg to wake him up. No response. So the guy grabs one end of the towel, and starts pulling with all his might: he might have lost the chair, but he's not giving up on the towel!! Next thing that happens is priceless: Douche #1 wakes up with the feeling his bathing suit is being pulled off him, and splashes the beer which was resting on his chest all over his face. I can't help but laugh out loud... and take that as my cue ...
... LOT of meat this week :) Compared to the people on the plane (where we were by far the youngest ones), there are a lot of kids in their 20s on the resort. And they are loud. And a bit obnoxious. Oh ****, they are from Spain. Must be Spanish Spring Break or something... Two guys are wearing make-up and skirts and... are clearly uber drunk. They change table 6 times, always around us though, and bump into other tables every time they get up to get more food. Who knew I would be ...
Woke up really early finished unpacking Went for breakfast then settled round the pool for the day Soon got bored so went for a walk around outside the complex Found the dolphins. After much excitement preparing for our inca trek we were awoken at 1am to say that the trip had been cancelled. Due to an unseasonal snow dump the trek was cancelled for the first time in 30 years! A bit disappointing but what can you do, Mother Nature has her own plans. Instead of trekking we spent more time exploring Cusco and trained to Machu picchu instead.
