Arrival and Lounging
... than I'm used to seeing- huge machine guns. I'm glad we didn't decide to rent a car because we would have been intimidated. There were also the trucks filled with dudes in the back and even a truck full of bananas and terra cotta pots with a guy sleeping...we were going like 80! As we arrived to our destination, there were gates with Puerto Aventuras written on the side. We're staying in a resort ...
Ruins at the beach
... to be able to cool off.
After we'd seen the ruins, we decided to walk to the neighbouring public beach. It was only about a 1km, and we could soon head onto the sand. This is where we could see the wonderful beach huts – they weren't nearly as cheap as the hostel we stayed in and appeared to be a bit more up market than what we were used to in Asia but never the less looked a great place to relax in.
