We went to sinoa island today. We stopped off at a natural pool then island them back in a different boat. We came back and the door was unlocked again. Sigh. We went to reception to tell them and they said they'd take care of it. It's not safe to leave it unlocked. Woke up went to eat. Went to the pool. Came home showered and went to have lunch. Walked to other nearby resorts and walked back on the beach. Had a bit of an argument haha we made up. ... beloved wasn't meant to live on an island and we were both shaken.

It didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves (although the hummingbird-sized cockroach by our cottage door almost did), but reminded me that it's best to take it slow with a travel-newbie. One day we'll laugh about Dave puking in the turtle pond, thus giving the little snappers the buffet of a lifetime, but even now (March 2015) it's a sore subject. On our next adventure together, we'll be better prepared.

... I know something is going to cost me.... Home again, home again, clippity clop! Back to the room to change and lay in the sun! Oh, no electricity! Another norm in the Caribbean ! Call the desk to report it. Of course several hours later when we come back from the beach, still no electricity, took showers in the dark, only so much to do in a dark room!,,, ok, down to the lobby it is...
