I was intrigued by the construction methods for the roof, Marc informed me that the roof shape was designed to withstand the snow storms.     Melanie (Heidi) & Vincent are in the region for a holiday and we are lucky enough to be invited to their family cabin high in the hills of the Savoie region. The attached pictures provide some indication of what it was like...and if any pictures can capture the feeling of "why we ride..." Then these certainly do...however you had to be there...
