... I was crazy mad with the speed of the descent.

Not much else happening today, had a nice pasta lunch and may double up for dinner. Cleaned the bike it was filthy with all the rain we have had and watched a little TDF.

We are off at sparrows to drive to Le Bourg D'Oisans to spend the day in the region. I will climb the legendary l' Alpe with its 21 hairpins and the meet Mich at the Saturday markets in Le Bourg.

The weather here was much better as the rain had cleared and the ...

... now and again through the fast moving clouds, but it was pretty socked in.

Connie decided to grab a coffee at the restaurant at the pass, but I started on my way as it cleared enough for me to begin the short decent into Valloire. The break in the weather didn't last long and as I rolled into the ski village the rain was coming down in torrents. I was soaked to the bone and freezing. I found a bar/restaurant and pulled in to get out of ...
