    Tuesday 4th August
    We woke up in the port of City of Ajaccio, on the West side of Corsica. Birthday boy Kevin was greeted and serenaded to a happy birthday by everyone!!!! No sleeping in......time for a walk down along the boardwalk.!!!!

    ... which we were warned about at breakfast. The galley was open to the passengers with different chefs being responsible for certain types of cuisine.     ... wrong. Eventually we found the sign post and the trail marker, and after that it was straight forward, and straight up. The church is an incredible engineering feat, even though it's only small. The Virgin Mary, sits atop some enormous rocks, and the church sits on a solid rock foundation, even forming the start of the walls in some places.
