    We arrived in Agadir, checked into our huge resort hotel (a room with an ocean view! $50 a night), and spent the next day lounging on the beach or by the pool. Nothing else to report.

    ... glimpses of water, and the villages north of Agadir were highly Westernized and largely appealed to surfers (lesson: one cannot, as Lonely Planet claimed, be both a "peaceful little fishing village" and “the premier destination in Morocco for surfing”).     ... 8217; he cheerily waves us on our way.

    We find ourselves on African soil yet again, and it may not be the last time. We have a seed of an idea germinating that we would like to return to Ethiopia and finish the ride on the East Coast of Africa that was cut short in 2008. It is all so accessible from Europe and can be easily done; just a little planning and organisation is needed. In the meantime Morocco is here for the exploring.

    ... retreat... That's being said, I do not feel I am missing out... There are so many different flavours and textures in the food that it really doesn't seem as though anything is missing.     ... had hoped to camp in a traditional Berber tent in the desert but they can only do that for big groups and there were no other groups at this time of year). We were quite hungry and lunch was delicious – a chicken and vegetable tagine, pumpkin couscous and fruit.
