  • and last, but not least, Lili, her tortoise who spents about 18 hours out of 24 sleeping
  • A strong cup of coffee to start off the day around 8 am, fresh fruit for me, cake for Marlene. Wafa, Marlene's home help arrived around 9 am and spoilt us every day from there on, except on Sundays. YES! What a privilege to be a guest in the hotel Villa Marlene!

    ... before we leave tomorrow. It was fine washing them in the sink, however trying to find places to hang wet clothes where they would dry relatively quickly was challenging! Drying my socks with a hairdryer was a first!

    Mel unfortunately chose the window which when it decided to pour down during our evening yoga class proved to be a fatal decision...clothes were soaked, ...

    ... I didn't know why I was still talking like this and she replied "I know, top of the morning to you" haha I do believe that is actually Irish!

    After yoga we got ready and headed to the BBQ at the Auberge where we sat on a roof and enjoyed some life music. We actually got meat as well which was a pleasant surprise and got to try some local beer (speciale). Really good evening but absolutely shattered now so off to bed I go...last full day in Morocco ...

    ... took a ride on a camel, not me though.A short ride through the city, passed the Kings Palace to the village of Follies Berberes, where upon arrival we were greeted by horsemen as we entered the gated arena. Mint tea and Moroccan Pastries were served in Cadial tents.We were then entertained by dancers, acrobats, snake charmers and a cavalcade (actually 5) With the thunder of horses and musket fire.The camel who was sitting just ...
