    Shopping in town on Tuesday in the supermarket Marjane! Marlene's friends Nicky and Gabriel lived on the way, so we paid them a short visit. Marlene and Daniel had rented a house next door to theirs when they first came to Agadir. Nicky is passionate about pebbles and stones!     ... a gang of armed bandits led by El Madani ag Soba, who was connected with the Senussi Bedouin. Their intention was to kidnap de Foucauld, but when the gang was disturbed by two guardsmen, one startled bandit (15-year-old Sermi ag Thora) shot their prisoner through the head, killing him instantly.   • A strong cup of coffee to start off the day around 8 am, fresh fruit for me, cake for Marlene. Wafa, Marlene's home help arrived around 9 am and spoilt us every day from there on, except on Sundays. YES! What a privilege to be a guest in the hotel Villa Marlene!

    ... was too cold to go swimming, but even if it was warm enough, I don't know if I would have made the decision to go into the water. There was so much trash along the beach and too many creepy looking guys. Maybe they clean the beach in the summer, but I was pretty grossed out!

    We were able to walk from the bus stop to the beach which was really nice, no dealing with taxi cabs! I remember we stopped in a little shop to buy water and Arlan and I were surprised to find we had bought sparkling water, oops! Wasn't as refreshing as we wanted. I had decided to wear long linen pants into Agadir and it was just my luck that in Agadir more people were dressed "Western" and a lot of people had on shorts and their ...
