I visited my friend Yavuz, who returned recently from his work in Zelenograd, Russia for a quick vacation.
He picked me up Friday morning at the airport and the weekend beach action started.

Alanya Took on new passengers last night in Cyprus. The drill wasn't as successful this time, most of my passengers were so rude. I lost my name badge somewhere out on deck during the drill too! Hopefully I can get one with my real name on it this time. Opened for a few hours on the evening and just about made it back to crew bar for one drink. Found it really hard to get up when my alarm when off this morning, after almost a week of getting up ...
... the shops from 10:30 to 11:30. Meaning we were in the crew bar by 12, and didn't leave till it closes at 2. Crew bar is my favourite part of the ship! It's a dark little room with loud music, lots of comfy chairs and a tiny dance floor. It's sort of like a cross between an underage club and a backstreet strip bar! But it's home and I love it. ... of carrots. It was very good. Dessert was apple pie.
Again, we went to the Star Bar and met the usual group of people - the Germans, the transplanted Californians living in London, Tom from Michigan. Keith, Sally Jessie Raphael's assistant promised to bring her along the next night for us to meet.
I'm sorry to report that I'm not posting any pictures because the internet connection is so poor & it chews up too many minutes trying to post.
