After a late checkin to the Palm Beach Resort (10:00pm) we were up at 7:00 am raring to go on day 1 of our Hurghada snorkelling trip on the Aquarius Dive Companies 'Aloha' dive boat. We headed out at 8:30 am for a 40 minute trip to the first dive site - reef ledge with a number of pinnacles. The depth was around 12 metres and visibility extended more than 50 metres just perfect for our day of snorkelling.
