    ... the night away comparing journeys & stories about our adventures through Central America & our lives back home. Caye caulker was hardly a party town. Come 10pm the restaurants were closing up and the few bars in town were quiet and soon to be closed also. It was so strange. The entire island accommodation was full yet where were all the people? It was like the island was just so relaxed and chilled out and that everyone was hanging in a hammock too lazy to get up ...

    ... our private concierge, and the first thing he asks is do you want a drink? Margarita? Um **** yessss both of us have issues with our cards and finally **** is looking on the up and up. He take us through activities we can do etc, and then we are left to our own devices, we get to our rooms, ahhh maxing!! Then it's off to try the all you can eat food we get for the week, awesome to say the least, back to the room bikini ...

    ... notes on what we have seen and done.

    The group is pretty diverse despite the heavy female influence, although there are a good number of teachers. There's only one student called Lydia which I was surprised at as thought there would be loads of classic backpackers. Rumour has it that there are 2 kiwi girls on the tour but haven't met them yet as apparently they are ill so not mingling with the group!

    ... on the cruises around the world as they hoped. Our dinner, complete with an artfully-arranged napkin loveheart, is mostly delicious. We have starters of tuna caprese for me and spinach and parma ham with melon and goats cheese for Coman, then each get served a Passion Cream Velloute, basically a courgete and red pepper soup. The main is a cacciatora veal roll for me and a salmon fillet in a parsley crust, flambe'd in brandy, for Coman. Our dessert is named 'Coup of Desire'; ...
