    ... black coral are a specialty. The temperature today is 84, and the humidity feels like it is double that number. Annette bought a fresh coconut and the water was so refreshing.

    ... in the middle of yet another brutally cold Canadian winter. The Killer B’s, Deb & Dave B, were the first to show and, as usual, we had a great time with them and although the adventures were not to the same level of trips past we did try out a couple of the more amusement park-like adventures on offer- underwater scooters, parasailing, dune buggys and so on. Just to feed Dave B’s need for a soccer fix we took in a game with the local Playa team beating a rival. ...

    ... s cenotes, this one was large but open to the sky. Some people went for a swim, especially the people who were too sick to go to the cenotes yesterday. Gao took a kayak ride. We all had some lunch at the onsite restaurant, at which we were the only customers. It was pretty low key.

    ... This is a buffet restaurant.

    We were seated at a table and our napkins were placed nicely in our laps. Our waiter came along and offered us tea and coffee which we both gladly accepted. We wandered around and took a look at all the food. There was so many choices. Bagels, toast, buns, any kind of eggs you wanted cooked fresh for you.     ... t our drivers fault, another bus was trying to sneak past us and had left his door open which clipped against the side of our bus. We got though the Mexican border crossing with no problems except for our guide Andres, unfortunately they wouldn't let him cross the border. Andres is from Costa Rica and apparently there is a bit of conflict between the counties. First time he went though the border crossing he was held for 3 hours an they flagged his passport.
