      ... night had been born on this very beach. She and her brothers and sisters will likely be headed to the Galapagos Islands.

      The mother never sees her babies. Ever. She has no idea if they survive or not. She will come back to this beach about 3 times before she is finished laying all of her eggs.

      We feel so privileged to have witnessed this act of Mother Nature. It was a marvelous way to end our time in lovely Costa Rica.
