We heading down to Liberia with family in tow....to our lovely destination wedding!
The first few days were super relaxing and everyone soaked up the heat (40 degrees was a bit hot some days). We all loved the resort on the gulf and had a blast.
Got ready for our wedding on the 12th - which they organized beautifully. Our photographer was top notch and helped us with everything while we were in Canada. The setting was amazing - a sunset wedding on Flamingo Beach.

Costa Rica-The Gem of Central America by Jim & Dori Kelsey At an area of around 32,000 square miles, one wonders how Costa Rica can fit over 850 species of resident and migrant birds but we discovered it can and more! Whatever your passion or level of daring, the "Pura Vida" that is Costa Rica has something for you. From biking to hiking, snorkeling to fishing, golf to rock climbing, you'll be satisfied. Even the most jaded traveler can't help but be awed by the sight of fresh lava flows ...

... to use to on-board bathroom (if you have ever seen a typical central american road, you can imagine how much skill this requires, numerous times I almost fell into the toilet/hole), the actual traveling bit wasnt too bad. However, as soon as I arrived into San Jose, I was on a whole other playing field. My bus arrived two hours late to a dark and extremely rainy city... which is also notorious for being extremely dangerous. As I was waiting for my bag, trying not to completely ...
Nicoya, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica rpalkovsky... interesting formations. There were three caves in all but to get to
the other two you had to squeeze through some really tight spots.
Since Devin’s mother didn’t feel like squeezing through or doing any
rock climbing she stayed in the first cave while Devin and I went on to
the other two. In the second cave we saw old coral reef from when
there was water in the cave, pretty amazing. The cave was amazing and ...

Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica albert413I am only going to write about Hojancha and Chira Island, the rest are all photos... Hojancha It was great to go back to Hojancha. We spent many days there last year in the construction of the first Kingdom Hall in that town, and I had to leave just before completion. So to see everything finished and the hall being well utilized was a nice feeling. Also, seeing the many friends that I got to know while on ...
Nicoya, Costa Rica kdietlWhat a bizarre day! Yesterday we went for a second battering in the sea - but few waves. Result - i did manage to stand up for at least 1 second! After we went out and having fielded one attempt to steel from my hand bag the second attempt succeeded, even with my constance vigilance!! Not Happy as my camara and wallet had gone - unfortunately several others had had the same happen that night.Getting Mary to cancel my card in the middle of the night we headed to the ...
Samara, costa rica, Costa Rica lizzatwell... surfing as the clouds moved along, and it looked like they were surfing in the sky. maybe they were. soon the magical gold skies faded and the real rain came. It rained so hard that the shoreline was ripped up and cast out to sea. what was a gentle slope into the river was now a rapidly increasing dropoff. i scrambled up and ran our bags into the bushes to save our cameras. It helped little, the bags still got soaked. We ran around in the rain like ...
Tamarindo, Costa Rica travel.junkie... and generally lived a dream. Tom finnaly arrived after spending loads of time in various traveler hostels on the way he had stories galore about his adventures since we last parted a few weeks earlier on the shores of Lake Titikaka. For a month hence life has been wonderful, except for the theft of our Camera by a now ex-Pretoma employee. :( We are all stress free and full of energy. Lisa has picked up her Violin and together we have been making sweet music! I have ...
