      ... stamped them to death. No more snakes! Amazing! Back to the boat about 3pm. About 4pm an announcement was made for two people. Again at 4.30 - sailing time!! The pilot was on board and apparently no sign of this couple. We were on our balcony to watch as we prepared to sail. Lots of others were aware of the saga unfolding too. Would they sail without them!?!? 4.45 then 5.00 and still no sign of anyone. Gangplank pulled in and by 5.15 we had ropes off and were about 2 or 3 metres ...

      2 weeks until wonderland.

      ... love a bit of Athens. Crazy how the next two weeks are going to fly and before I know it I'll be on that long flight on my way to the other side of the world.

      So my last two days in Lindos look something like this. Mum and I are doing the xmas craft fair in pilona tomorrow so she's been making/painting/baking like crazy. NicNic is coming along to say bye and Kimbo too. Then Sunday- we are celebrating Christmas as I'm going to miss seeing ...

      We had a morning tour Sue and Darren - a lovely couple who are not about religion and are well travelled and down to earth. We had a great day with them and wish now we were doing the Holy Land with them as they have a car and driver and space for two more.........       ... when we arrived at Chora we completely missed the stairs up to the monastery but had a great time wandering around this picturesque village, spotting restaurants with views for lunch and a bakery! We came across a church which we thought might be the monastery but were shooed out by the priest as he was leaving and locking everything.       ... the old dead skin. I didn't notice much difference, but Kinda thinks it was beneficial for her feet.

      We walked back to the ship and saw the Queen Elizabeth docked next to our which held several thousand people and dwarfed our cruise ship. I don't think a bigger ship would be any better and personally I prefer exploring new places than staying on the ship and ours had good food and plenty to do.
