... store where they have wine tasting and make the most delicious coffee and rolls. All fresh, tuna, salad with alfalfa sprouts! Now that's more like it.

A little late, but we did manage a short sprawl by the pool... and I opened Steinbeck's 'Cannery Row'.
But now, “It is the hour of pearl—the interval between day and night when time stops and examines itself.”

... got on the Highway 1 immediately. The Highway 1 is a road that travels down the length of the eastern USA coast. It's a slow road, but very scenic. After making our way out of the city trouble free, we stopped at Half Moon Bay for a morning coffee and a chocolate croissant. We then headed down to Monterey and attended the Visitors Centre to collect maps / info etc, on the road ahead. We travelled slowly through the beach road ...

... First on the list was a shopping outlet about a hour to hour and a half drive. We managed to arrive there at about 11:30 and the first thing we see are two hot ladies carrying bags and bags of shopping.. It looked like the scene from Pretty Woman I swear! Then I managed to get a look at them and it was in fact Kirsty and Meg's.. They had left Muscle Beach and had been shopping since 9:00am.. We all had some lunch and then headed off ...
