... to one big fat thimble! We made our way to the track, the train came right on time, and we were off! We got to florence, expertly used the pay bathrooms, and found our track. Now that we are done with trains and I can't jinx myself, we totally rocked it out, if I do say so myself! We found our carriage, and went to get on. What a crush of people! If you ever go to Europe and will ride the trains, please pack small luggage!! You should have seen these people trying to get ...

... it served its purpose for the night we needed before boarding our MSC Cruize.

As we were feeling okay we spent the day getting acquainted with the city and all its haunts!
The weather perfect, around 24 deg. I am so pleasantly pleased that the weather is cooler than Bangkok but ideal for doing stuff and walking round city.

For something different we decided to visit the Peggy Guggenheim museum. It was very different from the norm of cathedrals ...

Venice is outstanding, the bad part is that it’s so pricey – eg a bottle of coke costs 9 euros at St Mark’s square – that’s $15! It’s as hot as hell over here. Today we went to a little island called Burano. All the houses are different colours and they are not your ordinary every day colours eg ...
