Not going to lie, this morning was a little rough waking up! But all was good after I had some full English breakfast. I'm not going to want to go back to my normal breakfast after this trip!
We hopped over to Scotland for a quickie wedding in Gretna Green, which is a famous town where young English couples would rush to the border to cross over & get married as the age was 21 in England to marry. Two of my Contiki mates were nominated ...
... we apparently have a surprise that the adults won't tell us, because it won't be a surprise if they tell us. And, we are also going on a duck tour in London, where the bus turns into a boat that goes over the water. I've never heard of a bus that turns into a boat! And to make us stand out as tourists, the boat is shaped like a duck. I can't wait for that! See ya soon! ...

... the organizing in terms of finding flights, hostel, etc. (I guess my mom's organization skills in travel planning has rubbed off on me - although I am definitely not up to her level of unnofficial travel agent for family and friends!).
So, the planning went well, we found flights for super cheap, and a great hostel located in the centre of Edinburgh! There were so many of us, that we ended up renting out a hostel room for twelve people, and another ...
... Scotland's known for its fudge) which was really yummy!
As we were heading back to our hotel we passed an Australian bar called the Oz Bar, I guess that's proof of just how many Australian backpackers you get in the UK :PHalf the group went out on a pub crawl that night but I decided to stay back with a couple of the other girls in preparation for a big day tomorrow which would be our last night of the tour!
