... April than it did over the whole winter which was weirdly dry. It is definitely starting to get warmer though.

We hit up the National Museum of Scotland one weekend which we had been meaning to go to for ages. We didn't do a full tour, only went to see the Wildlife Photography exhibition which was very good.

Tried new recipes

Got to go the the Balmoral for drinks one night - a very posh and beautiful hotel. Quite the story!

... decided to go out and do a little shopping and exploring instead of stay in the room the whole trip. We ended up at the National Museum of Scotland which was filled with different things. The most impressive thing we found was Dolly the sheep. We were there for a couple hours and then decided to head back to he hostel. ... get a big screen. You get someone to make up your bed with a wee mattress and duvet. You get to lie on your tummy whilst you whizz through the air at 600miles an hour. You get champagne. You get free cotton pjs, which are great if you are 13, but probably don't suit your average First class flyer, and you get a fancy designer amenity bag, to add to the collection of things you really don't need, which will only be used to hold feckamedos over months ...
