... was a little bench that had been made with stone legs and a wooden seat. On it was a plaque in remembrance of a young American 20 year old girl called Margret who lost her life near by. I have no idea on the events that took place but thought it touching to dedicate a seat for whom I assume a tourist. We made our way over to Fort William and to try and find Lochie. Megs and I went on an adventure walk along the Great Walkway which was really lovely. ... not only included the Haka and slightly weird choice of music, but also had band members dancing Gangnam Style. A little surreal, but it was really funny. You can't go past massed pipe bands though, and their generally relaxed, stoic marching style was contrasted by the bass drummers who were really getting into rhythm of the music.

We're off to the Tattoo tonight, but we did see the empty parade ground and where we will be sitting.
