... narrow lanes. We had a reasonable tomato pasta and vege pizza before wandering around. Tom got an unusual 'ear massage' on the street, which involved getting his ear cleaned and then having a tuning fork run up and down a metal rod sticking out of his ear! ... I have learned a lot from her. I learn loads of Chinese from her, and through this she has become wo de hao de pong jo! The other reason I work in the hot wax room is because there is a lot to do there, and I am useful so there so I like staying there.

I have become a professional at the hot wax treatment!

Wow, it takes two days to get to China, but only an hour to get home, more about that later. Our troop of vagabonds left Atlanta on January 17th in the AM and arrived in Chengdu on the evening of the 18th.

Cris, Isabelle, Shelby, Rick and Dave were picked up by Pam and Hans in a private van that we had hired because of the Spring Festival. Just could not rely on public transportation with 500,000,000 ...
