This was how ice skating should be - freezing, Chrismassy and with the backdrop of a historic city all rolled into one ;-) 8. Day 32 - London - Amsterdam

Got up early again because it's our last day in London and we wanted to make the most of it. First stop.. Abbey road. We got a kootaz photo on the zebra crossing and then headed straight to a walking tour in the city. Still we hadn't learnt our lesson and walk over an hour just to get there. After visiting the forts we left ...

All workers have to rent their rooms for a hefty 150 euro a day and rely on regular customers as one session will earn them only 30 euros for on average 10 minutes of "work". Once we had made our way around the whole area, saw every window including the blue light area where you can only guess what 'girls' are there, we headed back to the hostel for another attempt at a good nights ...

... The second was catching a flash of colour in a tree and seeing a really colourful bird there. My first thought was that someone's tropical bird had escaped from its cage! Then a couple more birds joined it and I realised that it was a proper wild bird. It was quite a sight. I carried on wandering, leaving the park and exploring the local area. I came across a heaving street market which seemed ...
