One word of warning - you now cannot get on an Amtrak or check in bags without ID/passport - I naively tried to dump the bags the night before and shipped up without my passport. You can however use the left luggage machines which are unattended - until they don't lock properly and I get to wait 30 minutes for a guy to come from the Greyhound station. ...
