    ... and completely spoilt the sunset by wedging its way in between the sun and the ocean. We got to see the sun go down behind the clouds so not exactly what we were hoping for but I'm sure we will have plenty more opportunities along the west coast.

    On Tuesday we wanted to cover some more of the top sites in the area but we woke up to a lot of low laying fog so decided not to rush out as the afternoons always seem to clear up. Around midday we went back into town ...

    ... like lighthouses with the tall tower, rotating beacon and the lonesome wife gazing out the window for her lost captain sailing home? It was still a mystical photo op and a wonderful opportunity to burn off some breakfast calories walking the trails along the cliffs.


    So now we have delayed long enough. Time to go to the Hoedown at Haystack Rock! No the sun is not making an appearance ...
