Katie was up early in an ambitious attempt to get a million and one things done before getting her taxi to Millie's before sharing her last journey to the church as a single woman !! I was rather the worse for wear after Friday night out with the boys, think I got home just before 2am, and tried desparately not to wake Katie, James or Anna ...

Okay...well how about Underground, Buses, Trains and Taxis. Although the strike (sort of) ended last night, nothing was normal today.  We tried to get a taxi but were told that the wait looked to be about 1-1/2 hours. So we took the one Underground line that was running (which is thankfully 2 blocks from our hotel) to Paddington Station. Ho...

So I made it to London! Yesterday was spent recovering from two long flights, one over the US and the other over the Atlantic. It was absolutely pouring in London as I rode through the streets to the hotel...the rain reminded me of home. Then later on in the afternoon, it was completely sunny. It's been like that today too...really random weathe...

Today was another wonderful day in London. I woke up early this morning (the people next door were having a party last night) and went for another run through zone 2. It was a bit more chilly this morning, but because i felt more aware of my surroundings i had the opportunity to explore out a bit further. Lindsay, Chels and I headed out downtown...

Only 2.5 days to go but it still doesn't feel real - but I've packed in my job now, rented out the flat & am currently trying to pack & repack my backpack to fit in all the stuff. It generally grey & murky here but according to the BBC it will be 35/36 degrees & sunny in Bangkok when i arrive - WOW!! Asia here I come!

Thanks to Jalal I got down to the airport in good time and had a quick brunch before boarding the plane. Checking in was very swift and by midday I was on a plane leaving the country.
