... slow motion and nothing you can do to help. There are these poles in the middle of the trail to prevent cars from driving on the trails and someone ran smack into it and flipped over the bike. She ended up being fine other than a cut chin and a big fright. Glad I brought the spray I was given to for my knee so I can be of a bit of help. She was a trooper and got back on and we continued the ride. Had nice conversation with fellow bikers as we traveled through this nice town. ...

I opted for the moules and frites for main and Tony had Sea bass - the moules portion was huge so couldn't finish it or face a pudding - decided to have a nice Riesling with dinner then after dinner drinks in the bar before heading bed but before we did, we ordered a spot of breakfast in our room for the next morning so we could pack at the same ...

The ride back into Brugge went a different route through the countryside. We were told the interesting story and example (see photo) of how the saying "daylight robbery" came about. The government introduced window tax, the more windows you had the higher your taxes were. The people cried you are robbing us of our daylight as many could not afford to pay and bricked up ...

... out to experience Brussels' Museum Night Fever, which for 8 euro you can get into all the museums late at night and shuttles between all of them. It was a great way to consolidate visits to the museums. We hit the comic strip museum, the belgian history museum, the ancient palace, and the musical instrument museum. The night was well spent with a lot of culture thrown in. Of course... we found ourselves ending the night at Delirium Village again. I swear it's gravity. ...
