... lighter selections, there were plenty of people there so we didn't feel we had to do our bit. We started with Bresaola, rocket and parmesan and smoked goose breast, followed by a lamb casserole for Laurie and veal with porcini mushrooms for Meg, we just had to have another bottle of yesterday's Montepulciano. We came back for a little lie down before going to a local bar and then a small bowl of pasta for ...

It rained and snowed during the ...

... views and very Italian. The mozzarella was one of the best things I've ever had. The milk from the buffalo is richer at this farm compared to most because they pamper their buffalo with mozart, baths, and massages. A happy buffalo makes for better milk. I also got some gelato which was equally as amazing. ...

      Goodbye Formia

... would have been nicer if there was a bit more going on around the place, although the relative tranquility has been good.

We think it is fair to say that the south of Italy has a slightly different feel to the north and now we have seen the sights, we will not be rushing back.

We have had the odd problem with the apartment and utilities but after proving a dodgy water meter ...
