After breakfast, we gave Anna and Antonio some gifts from home. We also gave gifts to Enzo and Rosy. We wanted to thank the people we were staying with. We brought pieces of art (pottery and glass) and soaps made by local craftspersons; and (John's great idea) a framed picture of a hazy sunrise I took from behind our house. We we walked along the promenade to the south east and it wasn't hard to see that all the beach bars, restaurants and hotels are closed.....end of season!
We ate in the hotel and enjoyed good seafood....glad it's open!!
