East coast's best kept secret
... Nice to see him again! He's never seen a kangaroo so far so I take him to the golfcourse where the kangaroos hang out and chill in the shade. After that we walk to te beach where Alex does some drawing and I sit down and write a little. OCEAN, BEACH, CREEK, BIRDS & SUPER HORNETS
... barbecues, pit toilets, fireplaces and shelters that were bunkers during World War 2. There is no fresh water, the water in the creek is brackish.
The camp ground accomodates a lot more campers on Saturday and we will pack up tomorrow and continue south. Black Rocks is an excellent camping experience. Recommended!

... the time we’re not too sure whether these are stingers or not but no one else seems worried by them. My research since tells me they are called Blue Buttons and are not true jellyfish, they don’t sting but can cause skin irritation.

... to see New Zealand but the rota got a bit messed up and Im not doing my ICU rotation until april. Shame as its week on week off which would have allowed all the above plus a 3 week NZ trip using only a weeks leave! (and April is NZ winter time!)
