Around the Clear Springs area are a lot of Wineries but can't see any vineyards. There is even a town Called New Zealand near by. Quite a few old deserted wooden houses and barns Richard was too chicken to stop and have a look. We can now see the ocean at Fairfield with wind turbines in the distance must be getting close to North Lake Harbour the Owner at Blue Crest Cottages send you can see whales ...

Here in September 1864 23 Political Leaders from the British colonies of PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Canada began the discussion that led in 1867 to the creation of the dominion of Canada. Was very interesting reading as we walked through the original House of assembly and the Legislative Council.

At the big round about we turned off at Hwy16E to PEI stopped at the Three River Bakery Restaurant to have our lunch, coffee and cake before topping the petrol tank $123.9 at Petro-Canada. It's 39kms to Confederation Bridge over to PEI passed by forest of maple and black spruce, homes and farmland some had cattle. There are lots of cars and semi's some loaded with logs coming from PEI.
