I ended the day watching the sunset when i got back and had the best scallops and spring rolls thai style. I love Koh Chang island and i would have liked to stay for a few more nights. But i enjoyed my time there, met some nice people and made the most out of ...

... heat as we planned to take the kayaks provided by our accommodation, down the mangrove to see the island's waterfall. After letting Ross do most of the work for an hour we reached a dead end and gave up trying to find the waterfall - the novelty of kayaking had definitely worn off by that point! Cue some more lazy beach time for the next day and a half. Our departure from the island was not as glamorous as our arrival - we were taken to the ferry port in a rickety old ...

... the sky above is dark and purging with all its might. The rain is warm. Becoming soaked takes all of a minute. Sonkran and water wars are nothing compared to the skies ability to wash away the previous year with its purest element.

Scuba diving is incredible. My day and first lessons with an oxygen tank started with brilliant blue skies. Seven at a time we hopped from the dock into a little skiff manned by our 15 ...
