    ... town We see a few streets sandbagged off with barbed wire. Very odd that there's protests etc here and we're just driving throigh the middle of it, 10 minutes from where we're staying About 15 mins for us to taxi twice the length of the Khao San road. Taxi driver asks us if we ate dog since we've been to laos and vietnamese. Apparently vietnamese all the menu is dog. Everyone apart from the Thais only eat dog. Enough fool.     ... left we ended up having a very cosy night together! With Sam and Kim sharing a bottom bunk and Dan on the top, I had the pleasure of sleeping on the floor. I found however that with the beer at 6.5% it doesn't matter where you choose to sleep!
