We set the alarm for 6:30 so we could be to the 7:00 hot breakfast. It was a bit disappointing (at this point we are in St Catherines Ontario). The boys ate a few pancakes. I made lunches for the car ride, and we got going soon after. I knew our route had us right next to Lake Ontario, so I pulled over to see it as soon as I could. ... up for any deviations from the famous itinerary. It's been a long day of driving but we made it to Gaylord Michigan, Bob Evans restaurant next to the hotel, so we don't even need to get back in the Tahoe today. After a big supper Ciera and I decided to walk to Walmart to get snack and drinks for tomorrow's drive, the old guy didn't come with us....claims he's allergic to Walmart....pffft! ... shot every one of them! Fire was hard to come by. Jeff worked vigorously to get us a fire going and succeeded. Sophie has spent most of the day chasing chipmunks...I think she will probably pass out by 8:00. The loon has been swimming by with her babies. Very neat.
