... before shapes on the dance floor and stumbled home and had great difficulty getting the key in the door. Not surprisingly we slept like logs until midday the next day.

My vote is Cape Cod over Martha's Vineyard. MV is really quaint and all of the houses look like they are made from Ginger Bread though I just didn't like the overall vibe. Cape Cod seemed much more laid back, eclectic and real.

... Closed for the season. Reason? Freezing!". We must have missed it by a day as there was still rubbish in the bins.

So we drove back to near our hotel and checked out a Jamaican restaurant. The jerk sauce was delicious and the owner spent the entire meal talking with me about cricket. I think it had been a long while for him being able to have this type of discussion so it was lots of fun.

Afterwards we headed to the hotel and relaxed.

... then stopping in front of him in a bike trailer, and he pointed and wanted "bikiki" (sounds like Hungarian "bicikli"). We told him he could ride in a bike trailer later, and today his wish was granted! Thankfully, he was excited to put on a helmet, but not thankfully, he wanted the too-big green one instead of the right-sized red one. Anyway, he got in the trailer and we rode a fun, hilly loop through the state park before heading back and letting A take a turn ...

... island is golden and course, not white and powdery. Where ours you see mostly shells, here I saw more rocks than shells. The rocks are just as diverse and unique as the shells are in Florida; smooth, rounded, and every color. We rarely saw a shorebird, though Dan spotted seals waaaaaaay out swimming off a sandbar. We saw a couple wild turkeys waddle across the road.

... swim of 2013 we will bid farewell to our pals, cleaned up the cabin and were ready to begin the trek back west Saturday. By then we will have done our utmost to stimulate the US economy. It's amazing what you need to buy to set up a new home.Saturday dawned sunny and hot so we had a good long beach walk in Duxbury.
