Just a short entry to say that we arrived in Barbados yesterday morning (9th December) after approx 24 days crossing the Atlantic. Back to basics in Barbados
After 5 1/2 years of full-on Olympic and Paralympic shena****ns, the last minute visa hilarity and a long haul flight, I was just so happy to be in the beautiful island of Barbados.
That made it all the more surprising that I found myself having my pelvis put back in place face down on an osteopath's table whilst hearing the waves crash on the shore nearby.
Being a caring son, I had simply sought to move a table into the shade for Mum and Emma ...
Where the heck are we?
... was also a zip line place nearby but sadly it was closed as well. So we drove on back to the Southwest side of the island and visited the Mount Gay rum plant. It wasn't as nice as St. Nicholas Abbey but I was able to pick up some rum and rum cakes. We ended the night at our favorite place: Pisces. Tonight's menu was Kingfish salad, pecan crusted fish, and rum and raisin ice cream.

Zip Line adventure
... to go down, the sea creepy crawlies emerge from the ground, so I was ready to get the hell off the beach... you know how I am about the sea creatures!! So, back up in the room, Tony joined me this time in our private pool to watch the sunset. It was sooo nice! Now, we are once again enjoying an impressive dinner in our magnificent room.. all by ourselves! That means I am ending this blog to do much better things.... :)
