... scene went from black to red as the sun brightened the dunes. After sunrise we got to do what we all wanted to do from the start - run down the dunes - two of our group members (Pete and Treeny) accidentally took me out but it was great fun to run down the dunes in about 1 min after the 20min hike up. Day 45 We were able to sleep in a little bit later today because we didn't have to worry about taking down and packing a tent. We crossed over the namibian border which added over an hour to our commute. We got stopped, and every bag had to be taken off the bus and investigated. Breakfast was waiting for us when we reached the bottom and we were soon on our way to the next stop. We headed to Sousevlei National Park where there is a giant salt pan in the middle of the desert complete with Petrified Forest.
