... in the trees. We spent the next two days hiking to a few of the magnificent waterfalls. Some are just a short walk from the road, others required a two hour hike through forest, along rivers and down steep hillsides. Each time we were rewarded with the roar of the water and the clouds of mist surrounding the dramatic walls of water crashing to the rocks below. What kinda camper are you?Two things about Clearwater that really stick in our minds is the frequency of trains that pass by on the hour every hour and the swimming in the very chilly river. We rode back to the ranch and sat under Sarah's cherry tree to use her wifi.

We stopped at the Wells Gray information Centre and Joanne and I bought a cap each. We had lunch in the nearby park. Then we were off to see five waterfalls - Spahats Falls, The Mushbowl, Dawson Falls, Helmcken Falls and after a quick dip in Clearwater Lake - for Julie and Michelle - the final waterfall ...

The rest of the party decided to walk around, taking three days to get around this particular area of treacherous water. We ...
