      ... eager passengers year after year the Rodeo would unceasingly make the long trek to Heaven's Amphitheater in south central Washington for the most delightful and appreciated of times. The Gorge is my favorite weekend of the year and the trusty Rodeo was always there to carry the smiles and stories.       Our original plan had been to travel further down the Oregon coast from Newport and then turn inland to Ashland for the night on our way to Lake Tahoe. But we woke up to more heavy fog and decided to change the route to head directly inland to find the sun. So we took route 20.       ... to eat) but had fun in the river as usual. The kids rode their bikes around as I followed Matsu on his and Christian made dinner...yummy tacos. After dinner we headed to the pool for our nightly swim. The kids' new friends were there so they had a blast. Matsu passed out on our way back home, as expected. Christian and I were too tired to sit out by the river and went to bed with the children for some much needed rest. Another day under our belt. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. ...

      ... Enjoyed a scenic drive down to Ashland and did a short walk through the downtown. After having some great pizza we went to Life Could Be a Dream which featured many great hits from the 50s and 60s. And now I hope Trevor does not start ranting in his sleep again tonight!!
