We got a tour of the inside where we got to see this artwork of the lives of Saint Clare and Saint Francis. For those of you who know me, you know that I have not grown up with a religious background. However, all these visits to important ...

... We saw relics of St. Anthony ... His vocal chords, part of his tongue, and his teeth and we passed by and go to touch his coffin. The Basilica is absolutely gorgeous. We saw the University of Padua where Galileo was an instructor. It is the second oldest university in Italy. Today we drove to Ravenna and saw a basilica built in 540 AD and a mausoleum built 100 years earlier than that. The churches and other ...

... the beautiful marbled paper that we saw all over products in the store. Having peaked our curiosity we of course said sure and she proceeded to sprinkle drops of acrylic paint into a clear gel solution which after doing some intricate swirling she placed a sheet of paper face down and then lifted it out, transferring the paint in that crazy color scheme she had developed. It was really fascinating to see it done in person. That gave us a whole new appreciation for all of ...
