      ... in Vinales the storm turned out so bad that the electricity got cut off. We felt a bit uncomfortable since we did not know if it was still getting worse or not. However, a couple hours later it was over and we could walk to the centre where we met the German couple for dinner. It was a funny evening and later we took them to our casa and sat on the porch with another Cuba libre.

      ... Unesco World Heritage site. They glow in the afternoon sunshine and there’s this wonderful fertile red soil all around their base.       Walking back towards town we stop again at 2 small farms, one time for bananas & fresh fruit juice- all local produce & the other for a home made rum pina coladas. Bless their hospitality & alcoholism!
