... And then we thought the mascot bear was coming around the corner! This bull dog/boxer/dribbling/growling bear like thing came stomping around the corner with a full harness and lead on, which was safe! Only he was taking his 5foot owner for a ride! Just as well as got on his back and rode him down the hill haha! We got to the top, sweating conkers! It was so so hot now, I'd say easily 30 degrees at 10am! Nice breakfast at very charming place. Due to jet lag we are awake at 5:30am, therefore for first time in our life out at a reasonable hour. We have planned a very tight visiting schedule but at the end we did first stop at the beach in Venice and Camille and Matteo remained in the water for two hours, jumping waves. The sea is ...

... downtown LA and the famous sign. Apparently the hippies used to hang out and party up there, back in the day. It used to say "Hollywoodland" and was originally a real estate advertisement.
After our 2 hour hike, Bri and I shared an cold juice with kale and cinnamon and mango, it was bomb. We stopped in at the hostel to grab cosies and drove the 40mins out to Venice Beach.
Venice is where it's at. Such a chilled, fun vibe compared to hectic Hollywood blvd. A two ...
