Our Disney California Adventure

We went to Disney's California Adventure which is a newish park built on the parking lot of the old park. This is a more modern park with a California theme and rides based on newer Disney characters. There are fewer rides than at Disneyland but heaps more dining experiences.

So our short power nap went until 2pm!! After showering and sorting out our luggage, we left our hotel to join the Movie Stars Home Tour! After we bought our tickets we had half an hour to spare so what better way to spend it than in HOOTERS? We had a few drinks, some photos with the girls and then joined a few others for the tour. We set the alarm this morning and got up early to allow time to get into Los Angeles and hit Universal Studios before the holiday crowds descended in earnest. It turns out that the traffic was very light and when we got to Universal the crowds were actually not bad.

We paid the $20 to park in "preferred" as opposed to $15 for regular which was well worth it ...
