      We made it! Over 44,500 miles and thirty countries in 254 days. So, many thanks to those who were so encouraging and to those whose expertise and experience helped us get ready. And thank you to everyone who was so generous in giving us a comfortable bed and a home cooked meal. And thanks for allowing me to share the trip with you. It added a new dimension to the odyssey.

      ... and Alabama.

      The overnight stop in Alabama was
      at another Yogi Bear Park. Once again
      Yogi was there to greet us.

      Along with Yogi and Boo Boo were his gaggle of geese, some of them were wearing a strange head dress.

      We had stayed at a Yogi Bear RV
      Park some time before and when I booked this one I thought it was the previous
      park. How wrong was I. There are around 80 of these RV ...

      ... great. By the time we got everything up everyone was back at camp so the cooking group jumped right in and got onto preparing their curry. They served it with rice and naan and it was delish. Once everyone finished eating a few of us got onto building a fire. This was a hilarious experience with so many camp counselors all thinking they know the best way to build it. My job was to light it once it was established. Surprisingly enough we ...
