... a place to stay in Chile.

Nikki's bf Rooney then comes in, tells me he's going to the fire station, where he's a firefighter, for a bevvy or 2. Of course, it'd be rude not to, so I jump in his pickup, and he introduces me to some of the other volunteers, including Moe, his dad, and the chief of the station.

Having not eaten much, I get pretty tipsy pretty quickly and we grab some more wine from the "supey" on the way home for a "quiet" night in!!

Heute haben wir einen Zwischenstopp in Waihi eingelegt. Mal wieder liegt der Campingplatz direkt am Strand mit Blick aufs Meer. Hier verbrachten wir ein paar schoene Stunden: weisser Sand, tuerkisblaues Meer und Sonne pur!

... It’s only a matter of time before she makes me take my shoes off at the door.

We bolted along the gravel track at about 8.30am. The warden was in to begin his day but we both bowed our heads in shame to ensure we didn't have to make any contact. We escaped 9 quid richer. He wouldn’t care if one of the 7 groups staying last night hadn’t paid. I would put money on the fact that a few more of the 7 groups hadn’t paid either.
