I'm all better!!!!!! yey!!! and ready to explore the island. Tomorrow I'm going to Ubud another part of Bail I'm also going to some local villages and hoping to get some spectacular pictures. I'm going to try and see a traditional dance in one of the villages and really take in some of the culture. ... There are young boys on scooters, women collecting grass to feed their cow and all manner of crops and machinery carried on the head. The way they move livestock is perhaps what I found most amusing, they basically put the animals on a scooter. There were people driving with cages of chickens stacked up high on the back of their scooters whilst they had a pig tied up, put in a bag and placed by the feet at the front of it, it was crazy!! This meant that we had to get up at around 3am in order to make it to the base of the mountain (actually a volcano) and climb to the top in time to witness the sunrise. I had brought my headlamp with me but in true Kia fashion forgot to check that the batteries were still good. It died within 10 minutes therefor I had to use one of their flashlights.
