... Creaky floorboards, dated decor and furniture. Except for the electricity, you could almost believe it was a century earlier. The grounds were gorgeous too, and completely snow-covered. There is an original Stanley Steamer original car on display in the foyer. Justin had mentioned that the fourth floor is supposed to be the most haunted (the hotel was the inspiration for Stephen King's 'The Shining') so on check in I encouraged him to ask for a room ...

... to see from horizon to horizon is freeing. We could see for miles in front of us and it is the first time that no matter how fast Will drove (still not that fast, Stephanie) it didn't bother me. Being able to see 40 or more telephone poles in a row is bizarre and it is crazy that you can spot a moving vehicle from miles off simply due to the dust plume above it. ... owner. Especially when it comes to a B&B. You expect less than quality treatment from a regular hotel staff but NEVER an OWNER. Downright deplorable. You know the ironic part.
