... stuff, that has been in storage for many year, should be dumped, good willed, given to homeless or given to friend Rindy who lives here. We left most of what we brought with us and don't have that much to take back. Piles all over the room. Dinner at Hukilau again. Very good meal. Still bad weather. No tans this year. By the way, unleaded fuel is $4.80 here on the island.

... had no idea what to expect...

Once I paddled through the channel and made it onto the reef, what I witnessed was awe inspiring. The waves were breaking like it was Indonesia. It was so beautiful. It was great. Also, I got my first ...

... down on Hanalei Bay and back towards the East Side of the island. We promptly ran back down, doing the whole round trip in about 50 minutes including some time at the top to catch our breath, take some pictures, and chat with some folks at the top. Ron was pretty impressed that I was able to keep up with him (for the most part.) Check out the plethora of pictures I took from the top. Hanalei Bay is so beautiful and the waves in the Bay were bombing!

... battlefield. It was exhausting, but I always enjoy a challenge and it was quite a challenge to keep up with Ron and Nicole. I held my own until we were close to the terminus of our hike, Hanakoa Falls. The trail to this point had been six miles, with another half mile inland to the bottom of the falls. On this last half mile, I was flagging. The falls were reached by a side trail, which was very narrow and featured additional undulation. At this point, my ...
