... North shore is the place to go in the summer due to the beauty and the low surf. Winter time in the north is real rainy and lots of waves. The drive took us exactly one hour each way to get to and from Poipu. The drive is beautiful and right along the ocean so it went pretty quick. The neat thing about the drive is the "tree tunnel" that divides the north towns from the south towns on the island. The tunnel is a canopy of ...

... down on Hanalei Bay and back towards the East Side of the island. We promptly ran back down, doing the whole round trip in about 50 minutes including some time at the top to catch our breath, take some pictures, and chat with some folks at the top. Ron was pretty impressed that I was able to keep up with him (for the most part.) Check out the plethora of pictures I took from the top. Hanalei Bay is so beautiful and the waves in the Bay were bombing!

... all beautifully done and serve "local" food and merchandise - we loved this park and even though there wasn't the wow factor with rides we didn't hear too many complaints from the girls so a great day was had by all. We finished the day at the English pub overlooking the water and the nightly Epcot fireworks - awesome :)
Day 5 was our last Disney day at Magic Kingdom and we had fun re-visiting some old faves from Disneyland but we copped out ...
