The day began with a
“delicious” breakfast at the hotel. For some reason we skipped
the pile of fish heads and went for the sweet white bread and greasy
eggs instead. Adding to the ambience was the soundtrack “I'm sexy
and I know it” blasting out.

to check out of the hotel and be heading for some fresh air in Puerto
Galera on the nearby island of Mindoro Occidental. After a bit of

It was about a two hour bus ride, then an hour boat ride there, so it was a really quick trip, but felt lightyears away from Manila.
